Our Fifth Home is
Complete!

We broke ground on the new home on 376 Campbell Street
in the Josanna Neighborhood in May, 2011. It is now complete! A dedication
ceremony was held for the home on Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Thank you to everyone who helped by volunteering to build or donating to the project.
In
addition to helping build homes you can also lend financial support
to future Habitat Homes through our 'Buy
a Square Foot/Lend a Hand'campaign.
This is the fifth house built by Perinton
Congregations since our inception in 1998. We look forward to
continuing our cycle of raising funds and recruiting volunteers
to build Habitat homes every few years.
Perinton
Congregations Habitat for Humanity is one of six ministries
of Ecumenical Ministries of
Perinton, Inc. and its sister corporation Perinton Ecumenical
Ministries, Inc., a coalition of thirteen Perinton Congregations.
We
are one of several faith-based groups in Monroe County that
raises funds and recruits volunteers to build homes for Flower
City Habitat, a non-denominational Christian housing ministry
welcoming people of all faiths or no faith to help eliminate
substandard and poverty housing in Rochester. Since its founding
in 1984, Flower City Habitat has built or renovated more than
150 houses, and is one of the largest affiliates of Habitat
for Humanity International in the northeastern United States.
